A leading tertiary care hospital in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, is expanding its Intensive Care & Critical Care Medicine services and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant / Specialist in Critical Care Medicine. This role focuses on ICU leadership and advanced life support, making it a pivotal position within the hospital’s healthcare team.

Job Overview

The Consultant / Specialist Critical Care Medicine Physician will be responsible for providing high-quality critical care to patients in the ICU. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing critically ill patients and will be expected to lead a team of healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical care management for patients in the ICU.
• Lead and mentor a team of healthcare professionals, fostering a collaborative environment.

Eligibility

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Board certification in Critical Care Medicine or equivalent.
• Extensive clinical experience in an ICU setting.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a residency program in Internal Medicine or Anesthesia, followed by a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine.
• Current licensure to practice medicine in the UAE or eligibility for licensure.

Experience

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a critical care setting, with demonstrated expertise in managing complex cases and leading a team of healthcare professionals.
