Job Overview

The Technician in Radiology & Imaging Sciences will be responsible for performing various ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, and gynaecological scans. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the imaging department, collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, gynaecological, and other relevant scans.
  • Conduct Doppler ultrasound studies to assess blood flow and identify potential vascular issues.
  • Ensure all imaging equipment is maintained and calibrated according to hospital standards.
  • Assist physicians with imaging procedures and provide accurate reports on findings.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with hospital policies.
  • Educate patients on procedures and provide comfort during examinations.

Eligibility
